First time eating here after the good reviews we have heard. Best decision! It was amazing! We ordered 2 racks of ribs and they were PERFECT! Falling off the bone, melt in your mouth and lip smacking delicious! I just can't express how FANTATSTIC our experience as well as the food was! Thanks guys we will definitely be back!!

Nice quaint bbq joint right next to a truck stop on us 64. Ribs are fall of the bone and juicy/ not dry. I'll be back

We highly recommend Poppy’s Barbecue. We had a brisket special order for a Celebration of Life and everyone absolutely loved it. The brisket was moist, tender and had the perfect smoky flavor. Their sides and sauces are all homemade and delicious. Needless to say I highly recommend Poppy’s.

This place is wonderful the service is amazing they're very friendly in this place and serve the food out pretty quick they have a decent choice of food items to pick from and they even have truck parking or RV parking so you have room to get some grub... I recommend this place and I have put it on my to go places the next time I come through this area

We have never been her before and had my dads 75th birthday catered yesterday!!!! OMG amazing food! The best we have ever had in the area! You will be back!!!! Tonight we are having left overs and even better tonight!!!!!!

Great experience! I enjoyed my regular bbq pork sandwich. Was asked if I wanted slaw (of course!) and sauce (of course!). What type of sauce: spicy! Was very good. Lots of meat and appropriate slaw. Meat, slaw, and sauce were all delicious. Price was very fair. I did not have to wait long. I got mine to go and it filled me up. Gentlemen at the counter seemed to enjoy his job. He may have owned the store. He sure looked like a Poppy. Definitely worth the stop. I will be back!
